Another great feature in the iPhone OS 3.0 is the ability to Tethering, or sharing your unlimited cell data plan with your laptop.
To enable Internet Tethering there is a new option in Settings > General > Network > Internet Tethering.
You can share your connection using Bluetooth (after pairing) or the USB cable. I just tested the USB option, once enabled Leopard displayed a message asking to configure a new Ethernet connection in Network Preferences and after some moments the iPhone changed to Tethering mode, a blue status just like the green one when in a call.
TELCEL (Mexico) doesn't enable by default Internet Tethering but it's simple to activate it using Property Editors and iTunes 8.2.23.
